Performing Diaspora 2013 Public History Footage

Dear Historians,

In June 2013, the Harriet Tubman Institute hosted a public history conference on
the History of Urban Music in Toronto (this event was co-presented with the
History department).

We have since uploaded each of the day's six sessions (two of which are public
history roundtables with practitioners, journalists, music producers and radio
and television personalities -- and two of which are academic panels).

For those who are interested, below you will find a link to the six recorded
sessions, as well as a link to a recent activehistory.ca article outlining the
goals and outcomes of the day.
