Undergraduate History Students Association wins two awards at the Annual LA&PS Celebration of Student Leadership and Volunteerism

Department of History congratulates the Undergraduate History Students Association for winning two awards at this afternoon's Annual LA&PS Celebration of Student Leadership and Volunteerism. The UHSA won the "Outstanding Overall Contribution to Student Experience" and the "Alumni Award for Commitment to Student Experience and Engagement (Student Association)". In addition, the UHSA's President, Garry Smolyansky, won the "Alumni Award for Commitment to Student Experience and Engagement (Individual Student)". This hat-trick of awards is a magnificent achievement, enhanced by the fact that the alumni awards were presented by two former York History students: Dori Tenenbaum and Mathew Harper. The Department, congratulates the UHSA, its Executive and its President, Garry Smolyansky, for a splendid year and will appreciate if Garry could convey this message to all members of the UHSA.
